|
A MEMORY HOTELS voucher will be issued for every booking. The voucher must be presented to the hotel at the time of check-in.
Full payment must be paid upon confirmation of booking.

| Alteration / Cancellation Charges |
|
|
Before the voucher issuing deadline, any alteration or cancellation of a confirmed booking will incur an additional service charge of HK$50.
After the voucher issued or booking deadline, any alteration or cancellation is subject to a handling/cancellation fee of HK$100 per room per hotel in Asia Pacific except Maldives / HK$200 per room per hotel in Maldives, Americas, Europe & The Middle East PLUS any penalty & fee charged by hotel. This amendment / cancellation charge is subject to each hotel's policy that might be equivalent to at least one night's room rate. Please check with your travel agent for details.
Special cancellation policy may apply for certain hotels especially during the periods of Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year Week, Easter Holiday, Fair Periods, any Special Holidays or Events or its high/peak seasons. Any amendment, late cancellation, or no show may subject to full penalty. No refund will be accorded. Please check with your travel agent for details.
In case of early checkout, hotel reserves the right to charge the original period of stay in full without any refund.
In case of no show, no refund will be made.
Charges for all extensions of stay must be paid to hotel at rack rate directly by the customer.

| Refunds |

Refunds, if applicable, are strictly based upon the presentation of customer's copy of voucher duly certified and stamped by the hotel with the name of hotel's staff and date of change. Any refund made will be at the total discretion of the hotel.
For any refund application, a handling fee of HK$100 per room for booking of hotels in Asia Pacific except Maldives; while HK$200 per room for booking of hotels in Maldives, Americas, Europe & The Middle East will be charged regardless to the application result. Such handling fee is charged in addition to any charge or penalty imposed by hotels/suppliers.
Request for refund must be lodged with the issuing agent within 2 weeks after the checkout day.
All vouchers issued are non-transferable.

| MEMORY HOTELS acts only as agent for hotels, our suppliers and sub-contractors and does not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damages, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to any act or default of the hotels in question. |

| Hotel Grading, Room Category & Configuration / Bedding |
|
|
Hotel grading is classified in accordance to the available materials at our disposal. It only serves as a general reference. Due to differing standard in each country, hotels are classified in many & different instances or criteria rather than in a universal standard system.
Description of types of accommodations such as Standard, Superior, Deluxe, Seaview, Suite etc. are terms used by hotels or suppliers of the accommodation and are not MEMORY HOTELS' classification.
Room configuration, view and bedding vary from hotel to hotel. Any particular request is subject to the hotel's availability upon check-in and not guaranteed. MEMORY HOTELS cannot guarantee the bedding, view and room configurations and has no liability for any refund, compensation or dispute incurred.
Cost for triple or quad occupancy does not mean three or four beds in a room. It's simply the charge for the additional person, regardless of age, in a room especially for hotels in Americas & Europe. Extra bed/rollaway bed or baby crib is only available on request basis, subject to hotel's availability and is not always possible placed in a room. Additional cost may be incurred for such arrangement. |

All room rates are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars, and are inclusive of hotel services charges and tax, except those City Tax, Government Development Tax, Occupancy Tax, etc. which have to be paid by guests' own accounts directly to hotel. All optional gratuities service personnel or personal consumption items are not included.
All rates quoted in the tariff, unless otherwise specified are valid until 31 Mar 2003.
All rates quoted in this tariff are based on our contracted rates, i.e.: discounted rates from hotel published rates. However, sometimes hotels may offer special promotional rates lower than our contracted rates. MEMORY HOTELS is not responsible to accord the special promotional rates to the booking.
Compulsory Gala Dinner is required over holiday seasons which is subject to hotels' notification and must be paid in addition to room rates before arrival. No refund will be made if not consumed.
Supplement on room rate is required over peak or fair periods. The surcharge periods are subject to hotels' notification and advice upon reservation.
Renovations or refurbishment works will be undertaken at hotels/resorts any time throughout the year. Such information will be advised upon reservation unless notification from hotel/resort is received. MEMORY HOTELS will not be guaranteed the delivery of such messages or held any responsibility for any disruption due to renovation or refurbishing works undergoing at hotel/resort during your stay.
Your reservation at the hotel will be held only until local time 4:00 p.m. of the day of check-in unless the hotel is informed of your late arrival in advance.
All room rates are subject to change without prior notice. Please reconfirm the rates when making your reservation.
All supplementary information, including maps, in this tariff is for reference only and subject to change. MEMORY HOTELS would not be held responsible for any accuracy, omissions or deletions.

Monday - Friday: 0900-1700
Saturday: 0900 - 1300
Messages received after these hours are not valid until the next business day. Public holidays in between will not be counted as well.
